OUR PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS

Innovating With Purpose

Ethanol

Produced through fermentation of sugars, ethanol is a renewable, high-octane fuel and versatile chemical feedstock. It significantly lowers greenhouse gas emissions compared to petroleum fuels, whether blended with gasoline or used independently. Ethanol is also vital in producing bio-based chemicals and _ industrial applications, supporting the transition to cleaner energy.

Animal Nutrition Protein Feed (DDGS)

Distiller’s Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) is a nutrient-rich co-product of ethanol production. High in protein and energy, it serves as an excellent feed for cattle, poultry, and livestock, reducing dependence on traditional feed sources. DDGS helps close the food-energy loop, ensuring sustainability across both
energy and agriculture sectors.

Edible Corn Oil

Edible corn oil is a multipurpose product widely used in the food industry and as a key feedstock for biodiesel. It is favoured for its nutritional qualities, and large quantities are further processed for soaps, paints, and industrial applications. Corn oil demonstrates
how biorefineries extend beyond fuels to create everyday essentials.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

SAF is an alternative jet fuel derived from renewable feedstocks, capable of cutting aviation’s carbon footprint by up to 50% compared to conventional fuel. It can be blended seamlessly with existing jet fuel and is already in use globally, including by major airlines. SAF plays a critical role in achieving net-zero aviation goals while ensuring flight safety and performance

Drop-in Renewable Diesel

Made from natural oils and fats, renewable diesel is chemically identical to petroleum diesel and can be used in existing engines without modification. It reduces lifecycle emissions, provides reliable performance, and supports decarbonisation in road transport, logistics, and heavy industry. Its “drop-in” compatibility makes it a practical and immediate solution for clean energy adoption.

Bio-Methanol

A renewable alcohol derived from biomass or gasification, bio-methanol is a versatile fuel and industrial feedstock. It offers high energy content with low emissions and is increasingly used in marine shipping, fuel cells, and chemical manufacturing. Its ability to fully degrade into CO, and water makes it a safer and more sustainable alternative to fossil-based methanol.

Bio-EC

As a part of the second phase, Bio-EC (bio-based electrolytic compounds) serve as advanced lithium battery electrolytes that optimize ion transport, improving energy density, safety, and overall performance. With renewable storage at the core of the clean energy transition, Bio-EC drives the advancement of next-generation batteries, supporting the move toward electric mobility and large-scale renewable integration.

Biogenic CO2,

Biogenic CO₂ in this project primarily comes as a coproduct of the fermentation process – a naturally clean, high-purity source that is far easier to separate compared to CO₂ from biomass combustion or decomposition. Once purified, this biogenic CO₂ can be used across multiple industries, including food and beverage applications or metallurgical and metal processing. By capturing and repurposing this high-quality CO₂ stream, the process supports a more circular and sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Green Hydrogen

Produced via electrolysis using renewable electricity, green hydrogen generates zero direct emissions and replaces fossil fuels across industries. It can power vehicles, supply heat, or serve as feedstock for industrial processes. By supporting both electricity and industrial applications, green hydrogen is a cornerstone technology for achieving global Net Zero and energyindependence.

INDUSTRIAL USAGE

Biopower’s diverse portfolio of renewable fuels, co-products, and green technologies serves a wide spectrum of industries, helping them transition toward cleaner, more sustainable operations.

Transportation and Logistics

Our ethanol, drop-in renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) power sectors committed to lowering carbon emissions. From road fleets and shipping companies to major airlines, these drop-in fuels blend seamlessly with existing infrastructure, enabling greener operations withoutcompromising performance.

Agriculture and Animal Nutrition

Through distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS), our biorefinery outputs support farmers and feed producers. DDGS enriches livestock diets, closing the food—energy loop, reducing waste, and enhancing agricultural efficiency.

Food and Consumer Goods

Our edible corn oil is a staple in the food industry, valued for its nutritional profile and versatility. It also doubles as a sustainable feedstock for biodiesel, showing how biorefineries can create products that touch everyday life far beyond fuels.

Shipping and Marine Industry

Bio-methanol offers ship operators and maritime logistics providers a low-carbon solution that meets tightening environmental regulations. It serves as a clean-burning marine fuel and a vital chemical building block for various ocean-based industries.

Energy Storage and Electric Mobility

Our upcoming Bio-EC electrolytic compounds are designed to enhance the performance of next-generation lithium batteries. These innovations support electric vehicles, renewable energy integration, and large-scale battery storage solutions for grid stability.

Industrial Manufacturing and Chemicals

Both bio-methanol and biogenic CQO, contribute to sustainable manufacturing. Industries use these resources as raw materials for chemicals, plastics, and industrial gases while aligning with circular economy principles.

Hydrogen Economy

Green hydrogen from Biopower is transforming sectors ranging from heavy industry and manufacturing to heating and long-haul transport. As a zero-emissions energy carrier, it is central to global decarbonization strategies and energy independence goals.
